In a landmark decision, the Board of Directors at Cedeed – The Center for Digital Exploration and Enterprise Development has elected Mrs. Adaobi as the new Chief Executive Director (CED), following a 5:2 majority vote during a board meeting on administrative leadership appointments. This appointment positions her at the helm of the organization, where she will oversee the company's overall strategy and operations, driving business growth, innovation, and technology-driven human capital development.

Cedeed, a premier innovation and human capital development hub, is committed to providing infrastructure, mentorship, funding, and market access to tech talents in South East Nigeria. With a vision to position the region as a leading African technology hub, Cedeed has consistently supported young innovators through paid internships, subsidized training in web and mobile app development, data analytics, and cybersecurity, and by opening doors to potential investors. The CED role also encompasses overseeing investor relations, a responsibility that demonstrates ingenuity, as seen in the creation of Cedeed’s investor management firm, CedFinance, which bridges startups with strategic funding opportunities.

Mrs. Adaobi, 33, originally from Agulu in Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, is a UK-based administrator with a wealth of experience in leadership and enterprise development. She is also the founder of Sprout, Bloom and Blossom, an NGO based in Awka, Anambra, dedicated to empowering young women to reach their full potential through mentorship and capacity-building programs.
